This strap has a piece of wire in it, it runs along under the bottom of the scissor lift touching the groung to help dissipate any static – If you’re getting a static shock from a scissor lift – See if it’s missing one of these.
A scissor lifts horn is used to let people know you are there or can be used to gain attention if you need help, make sure your’s works.
