What happens if your access equipment stops working?
Even though we only import the best brands in the world, at times they do break down, it’s often a simple over the phone fix but on occasions we need to send out a technician to our clients to carry out warranty repairs.
All of our access equipment brands are completely backed up by the manufacturer’s warranty, but we have set our own extremely high standards to ensure that you feel valued and cared for when you need help. Most importantly of all, your scissor lift, cherry picker or boom lift gets fixed as quickly as possible and with as little disruption to your business as possible.
What we do to ensure that we are there for you when you need help
To ensure that you have help when you need it, we have a clearly defined policy to help you, and it starts from the moment you decide to use Elevated Access New Zealand for your access equipment.
When you purchase a scissor or boom lift, you will be given contact details so that you get instant help when you need it. (These contact details will also be stored inside the operator’s manual of your machine).
- Your point of contact at Elevated Access New Zealand Limited.
- Your local service provider – This person/company will be able to carry out warranty repairs, servicing and 6 monthly certs.
- A direct manufacturer contact for warranty help.
This next step in our policy is a simple one, but we feel it’s important – When we get a call for help – WE DO SOMETHING. Then we keep you informed of what’s happening every step of the way.
If you call us to report a problem with your access equipment, WE DO SOMETHING! We get you the help you need and we keep you informed of what’s going on until your machine is repaired and you are completely happy.
We don’t leave you wondering if someone is actually coming out to repair your scissor lift.
Peace of mind – You’re protected by the Manufactures parts and labour warranty so you have complete peace of mind, we take care of all the details, including registering your machine for warranty.

We have a national warranty, service and safety certification network in place.

Every 6 months your machine will get a need a safety certification, it’s just like a warrant of fitness on your car, except we come to you, the cost is around $160 dollars, we suggest on the second of these visits, the technician carrying out the safety cert also carries out any servicing.
Obviously there is very little servicing required on an electric slab scissor lift so, cost of ownership is extremely low.
Getting a 6 monthly safety cert is simple, quick and inexpensive. The safety cert is required by legislation to ensure that your scissor lift, boom lift or cherry picker is working correctly and all safety systems are in order.
